Lisa Bjerke, MSLP, R.SLP S-LP (C)

Lisa is a speech-language pathologist with over twenty years of clinical experience. She graduated from the University of Alberta in 1987 with an undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology with distinction. Lisa then worked in various settings including schools, hospitals and health centres before returning to university for her Master’s degree. Lisa obtained her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 1997 from the University of Alberta.

Lisa is the Director of Optima Communication Inc. and Accent on Canadian English. She also operates a full time private practice in Calgary, Alberta. Lisa has specialized expertise in working with Candian English accent acquisition for speakers of English as a second language. She works as a consultant and trainer in the area of pronunciation improvement and clear communication in corporate, educational and private settings.
